24-Hour Project – Part II

This is a follow-up to my previous post. These shots were taken during the 24-Hour project I mention in that post. I picked three photographs and converted them to mono. The concept, while still focused on urban street photography, is slightly different. I wanted to show more open space to establish a contrast between the city and its inhabitants and to reflect the slightly cold feel of the urban spaces.

I also printed/framed these images and they’re now hanging on my wall at work in this exact same order … I have a rotating “gallery” in my office and change the photographs periodically 😀  Click on any image to enlarge.

    • Thank you very much, Allan. I really appreciate your comments.

My associates: some get it and some don’t 🙂 I have a regular few who come take a look and chat for a bit, discuss the scenes, etc.

  1. I like these pictures, Igor, especially “Good morning, downtown”, and I know just what you mean about urban spaces’ unwarm feel – they are too often grand, sleek, modern and monumental, and not really made for making us living beings feel good or at home. And I very much like the notion of a rotating gallery – what a good idea! Adrian 🙂

What do you think? Tell me, pleeease ...
