Two Nights, One Day

I’m trying something a little different here with my usual street photography. As is obvious, there’s a lot of post-processing to add texture and a frame.

  1. Hi Igor! Now these are interesting! I’m never sure that adding processing for the sake of it works but I think your processing works here, I think it adds to the images, especially when they’re viewed full size – am I right in thinking that the pictures have a Film Noir look?

I particularly like the textures going through the man in Day: I found you … – very well done! The woman seems to be walking through pouring rain. And I think the textures really enhance the Blonde Rider shot – it would be far blander without them.

Definitely go on experimenting in this vein, my friend. Good stuff! Adrian

    • Hi Adrian! First, thank you very much and I’m glad you liked them 🙂 Yes, I think you’re right in saying that there’s a bit of the film noir look to the images. I processed one and turned out that way … I liked the result, so I processed the other ones in a similar fashion.

Again, thank you and it’s always good to hear your feedback! If I end up with more interesting results, I’ll be sure to post them up!

    • Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate your taking the time to comment and visit, Otto! I’m glad the images get to you at some level 🙂

What do you think? Tell me, pleeease ...
