A Flower? Me?

A Flower? Me?

Well, it’s Wednesday. On Wednesdays I get to work from home, as I’ve mentioned, and usually go for a walk around the neighborhood early in the morning before firing up my computer. Today’s reward for my walk was a flower I plucked from a nearby flowerbed … It looked lonely, so I figured we could keep each other company. Or something like that. I shot it.

Oh, yes, that’s part of my bicycle in the background.

  1. Hi Igor – a flower? Maybe you’re mellowing … 😉 ….

I love “It looked lonely, so I figured we could keep each other company. Or something like that. I shot it.”, because to a Brit “I shot it” might mean something else, and coupled with the preceding words its simply wonderful!

Its a good study. What about a plain dark backdrop? Adrian

    • Maybe I am mellowing! Haha.

That little excerpt you quoted was meant to be straight-faced humor, if you will. But now I’m curious about the meaning of “I shot it” to a Brit!

I think a plain dark backdrop would work very nicely. I should try that with the next one (this one is dead 🙂 )

What do you think? Tell me, pleeease ...
