No Picture? No Problem.

OK, so perhaps out of laziness, I won’t be posting a picture today, but I felt like putting something up anyway.  The following is a sort of poem that I wrote basically narrating a dream scene:

“Ancient hut
Eroded by the sand
Encloses your body, inert
In the rose red dusk.

Ancient bed
Corroded by the salty breeze
Hugs your body, immobile
Though it loves you not.

Ancient wind …
Ancient light …

The dream was not mine, but when I heard it, I could vividly see the scene in my head, which is a bit strange because others’ dreams rarely have that effect on me.

The obligatory disclaimer is, of course, that I’m not very good at writing poetry and to make it worse, I originally wrote it in Spanish, so the translation may not convey the feeling very well.  But, there it is.  I may even complement this with its own photograph at some point 🙂

What do you think? Tell me, pleeease ...
